Hi, I'm Hanne.

5 years ago, I moved from Würzburg, Germany to Seattle, Washington and stumbled upon design. Since then, my life has changed quite a bit. I've learned to embrace American culture, met a bunch of awesome, inspiring people, and had incredible experiences. Design helped me with that. It encourages me to challenge and question my environment, and makes me approach problems and situations differently.

Within the realm of design, I'm passionate about Interaction, Research, System, and Sustainable Design. Unlike some, my focus is not on the design medium, but the story behind the project. I want to design tangible interactions that inspire and motivate people.

In June of 2012, I'll graduate from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Design in Industrial Design with a strong interest in Interaction Design.
